This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, book a coaching session, or buy a digital or physical product, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
2. What data we collect
Contact details: name, email address, and country, collected when you book a session, buy a product, or use our free tools (such as the business roadmap assessment).
Order and payment information: purchase history, billing details, and transaction records. Card and payment details themselves are handled directly by our payment processors and are not stored on our servers.
Delivery details: shipping address, for physical product orders only.
Coaching session content: information you share during a session or in intake forms, such as your business experience, goals, and challenges, used to personalise coaching.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our site.
Communications: any emails, messages, or support requests you send us.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
To fulfil an order or coaching booking, and deliver digital or physical products — necessary to perform our contract with you.
To process payments and prevent fraud — necessary to perform our contract, and our legitimate interest in running a secure business.
To personalise coaching and any AI-generated recommendations (such as the business roadmap tool), based on the information you choose to share — necessary to perform our contract, or based on your consent where the tool is used before any purchase.
To send you marketing emails about our coaching sessions, products, or launches — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To respond to support requests and communicate about your order — necessary to perform our contract.
To improve our website and offerings, and for basic analytics — based on our legitimate interest, or your cookie consent where required.
To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records — necessary for legal compliance.
4. AI tools we use
We use AI tools, including large language models, to help generate personalised coaching content, business roadmaps, and recommendations. When you use a tool such as our business readiness assessment, the answers you provide are sent to our AI provider to generate your result. We do not knowingly submit sensitive personal data (such as health, financial account numbers, or government ID details) to these tools, and you should avoid including such details in free-text fields.
5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run DIASPONET, under contracts that require them to protect your data:
Stripe and Flutterwave — payment processing.
Email and marketing tools — to send order confirmations, receipts, and (with consent) marketing emails.
Video conferencing providers (Zoom, Google Meet) — to deliver live coaching sessions.
Our AI provider — to generate personalised coaching content and recommendations, as described in Section 4.
Shipping and logistics providers — for physical product orders only.
Website hosting and analytics providers — to operate and improve our site.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. International data transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where this is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data remains protected.
7. How long we keep your data
Order and payment records: kept for as long as required by Norwegian accounting and tax law (generally 5 years).
Coaching session notes and intake information: kept for the duration of our coaching relationship with you, plus a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Marketing contact details: kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
Technical and analytics data: kept for a limited period as set out in our cookie settings.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
